Joshua Rhodes, O.D. is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry He is a therapeutically licensed optometric glaucoma specialist. He was born and raised in Vidor, Texas and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Lamar University in 2012 before continuing his education.
As a therapeutic glaucoma specialist, Dr. Rhodes is excited to be involved in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular conditions, including glaucoma. Dr. Rhodes is especially interested in the fitting of scleral contact lenses for patients with atypical corneas, such as kerataconic or post refractive surgery patients. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Rhodes and his wife Heather recently welcomed a new baby, Grace, who immediately had her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys playing guitar and singing at his local church, and can usually be found outdoors enjoying activities with his family.
